I recently got the opportunity to see the inside of a hospital abroad. After a pretty horrific end to a stunt I had to spend almost 3 weeks in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Severe Burns Unit. I was airlifted from a friend’s farm out near Dubbo, NSW to Sydney Royal North Shore’s emergency where I was treated for a laundry list of fractures, a couple lacerations and a pretty hefty chemical burn from lying in a puddle of gasoline for over 4 hours, along with a few other injuries.

Melbourne, Australia

May 11 - 21, 2007

We were almost diverted to Sydney due to seriously thick fog, but we just made it in time. Melbourne Airport (a.k.a. Tullamarine) (www.melbourneairport.com.au) was very easy to navigate and the people were very friendly.

Dralion poster

Last night I had the pleasure of seeing the Cirque du Soleil show “Dralion” in Melbourne, Australia and it was without a doubt one of the most fantastic shows I have ever seen! I have wanted to see their show live and after seeing so many of the others on video and I have to say it is even more stunning and spectacular in person.
