Hammerhead

The full suspension Hammerhead off-road handcyle! Based on the Bomber RS with reinforced tubing joints in areas of high stress throughout the frame, the Hammerhead has been built to withstand even the toughest tests on the trail and in the backcountry and yet stay lightweight and agile.

The Hammerhead’s front and rear suspension provides improved ride quality, downhill speed control and improved traction uphill. The 26” wheels provide increased ground clearance, improved traction, increased speed, and a smoother ride. The replaceable derailleur hanger improves reliability on the trail and longevity for the frame when facing those close calls with rocks and logs.

This offroad handcycle is designed for a rider in the prone body position. This allows the rider to see the terrain ahead more easily, and have the advantage of body weight over the crank set for added power. The primary steering is through a single, stock, mountain bike handlebar. This gives the rider the real mountain bike feel. The secondary steering is done through a chest pad. This chest pad has a flat design for decreased pressure points and improved comfort and control for both males and females. The knee rests are molded with fiberglass (see options for carbon fiber upgrades) for greater impact resistance, added strength and reduced weight. Knee rests are reinforced at knee bar area for greater strength and longevity.
